(Dis)ability Politics

A group for (dis)abled-identified readers, writers, and activists and our allies commited to bringing ableist oppression to a grinding halt.

We define (dis)ability in the most inclusive sense of the word and include all physical (dis)abilities, psychological (dis)abilities, PTSD, depression, cognitive (dis)abilities, learning (dis)abilities, panic attacks, chronic illnesses (such as HIV/AIDS, breast cancer, and CFIDS), chronic pain, repetitive motion injuries, arthritis, invisible (dis)abilities, and any other experience that people self-identify as a (dis)ability.
