Words + Pictures

A book club that convenes two or three times a year to read and discuss a novel paired with a graphic novel. For example, to get the book club started, we're reading American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld and American Widow by Alissa Torres & Sungyoon Choi. It's likely that we'll cover a broad variety of genres. For example, one likely future pairing would be Alan Moore's Top Ten and Jon Lethem's Fortress of Solitude, for a "capes" theme.
