Sherly is a member of the Muslim Peace Fellowship and a volunteer librarian at its Islamic Library located at Stony Point Center. She is an activist and advocate for Palestinian rights, the Black Lives Matter Movement, gender equality, and peace and justice for all peoples of the Global South. She spends much of her time supporting the Community of Living Traditions at Stony Point Center in a number of social justice efforts to combat Islamophobia, assist Middle Eastern refugees, and advocate against war and the production and use of lethal drones. She has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the American Intercontinental University in London UK.
