I like to read from lists (i.e. Recommended College Reading List, Time's Best English Language Novels Since 1923, etc.) I find that lists are a good place to find a lot of books that I will like, and they rarely have really bad books on them (although it has been known to happen). They're also a good way to find authors that I haven't read before.

So who am I, you ask? Excellent question. I have a BA in liberal arts and an MA in English. I've spent time working in the stock photography industry, and now I'm a proofreader for an insurance company. I like reading (obviously), geocaching, disc golfing, and my dog and his various friends.
