Om mitt bibliotek
The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum is dedicated to teaching the history of the Holocaust and advancing human rights to combat prejudice, hatred, and indifference.

The Museum teaches about the past, to learn for today, in order to impact the future. A not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) since 1984, at our inception we were known as the Dallas Memorial Center for Holocaust Studies and were located in the basement of the Jewish Community Center building on Northaven Road in North Dallas. A group of local survivors created the Holocaust Center to preserve the memory of what they had endured.

In 2019, the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance moved into a new building with a new mission. The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum’s Library and Archives provides access to rare books, manuscripts, and artifacts while preserving them for future generations. The library and archives collections include materials about the history of the Holocaust and human rights in a local context.

The Library contains more than 3200 books pertaining to the Holocaust, World War II and other past and current genocides. The library is for reference use only and is accessible by appointment only. Please email archives@dhhrm.org to make research plans.
