- If it isn't fun I'm not going to do it; this philosophy extends to my reading. Since leaving gainful employment I have endeavored to only read 'brain candy' with any regularity. Also, since I'd much rather laugh than cry, there will be few 'slice of life' books adorning my reading list. Action, adventure, thrills, mystery, and a bit of magic typify my life, as well as my library.
