Our lending library is pretty fluid, and mostly unofficial: books appear and then disappear as people come and going, or various folks borrow them, or what have you. We're also currently working on getting a Books for Prisoners program started, which will probably make bits of it even more transitory. The books in this catalog will be changing as our library changes and the plan is to provide a site for discussion of the kinds of books we like to have around and an overview for what we have right now.

We are a (mostly) student Housing Cooperative in State College, PA (yes that's really the name of the town--it's where Penn State lives), officially called Central Pennsylvania Community Housing. We strive for egalitarian interactions, social responsibility, and (as much as possible) sustainability, working on a consensus basis and seeking community involvement.
