My first date with my husband was at a bookstore and we bonded greatly over our love of reading. Happily when we wed our library combined and will continue to grow like the love in our household.

With a Masters in Archaeology and a Masters in Education, I read a wide variety of literature from my professional reading in history and archaeology to my fun reading in sci-fi and classics. My students often ask me how I know so much and my answer generally is “I read”. I work to promote reading in my classroom in order to help nourish an appreciation for the art of written word to the next generation.
