Dr. Kirby Clements Sr. received a B.S. in Biology from Morehouse College; a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University School; and became the first African American to receive a master degree in prosthetic dentistry from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry.

Under the leadership of Bishop Earl Paulk, and a host of pastors, Clements helped Cathedral of the Holy Spirit expand into a fast growing multicultural mega ministry with over 12,000 members and outreach functions that touched the world.

Along with his wife, Sandra, Clements founded the Clements Ministries in 1994 to provide Bible-based ministry seminars, workshops and books with provocative words of wisdom that can be easily applied in all areas of life. He was ordained as a bishop in 1999.

Dr. Clements has authored 11 renowned books and hundreds of papers dealing with spiritual and practical issues of the Christian faith and church structure. He has ministered extensively, both nationally and internationally to countries in Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Europe, North America, and South America.

Currently, Dr. Clements is bishop of The Community of the Holy Spirit in Decatur, Georgia which he organized, and presides as CEO of The International Connection of Ministries, an outreach organization that provides training and support to ministry organizations worldwide.

His commission is to facilitate the effectiveness and productivity of churches, leaders, and people.
