I'm starting an inventory of my genealogy and history books. I'll move on to fiction and to hubby's amazing WW1 collection of books, then miscellaneous.

Lorine is the creator and owner of Olive Tree Genealogy website at http://www.olivetreegenealogy.com/ which she established in 1996. She is also the creator of several other websites, all bringing free genealogical content online for genealogists and historians.

She lives on a 100 acre hobby farm with her husband and two small rescue dogs. Over the past 15 years Lorine and her husband have rescued and cared for various animals, including donkeys, sheep, geese, rabbits, turkeys, dogs, ducks, chickens, guinea fowl and pigs. Currently they have over a dozen pot-belly pigs.

Lorine has an Honors B.A. in Psychology and a B.Ed. For 20 years she taught teenage boys who could not be in regular schools because of behavior issues. Before that she was a child care worker working with younger children with emotional disturbances, autism, developmental delays and cerebral palsy.

Now she spends her days working on her genealogy websites and blogs and writing her genealogy-history books and her genealogy-mystery novels. From time to time she surfaces long enough to cook Christmas, Thanksgiving and other special occasion dinners for her grown family of three children, a step-daughter, two step-grandchildren, and ten grandchildren.
