Om mitt bibliotekAs you can see if you navigate my LibraryThing, I have diverse interests and my library is always growing in different directions. So, in an attempt to put a bit of order into this jumble, I've divided my books in several topics (collections) according to the sections I have in my own library.
Some of these collections are richer in books than others, and some of them don't have all the books I own on that particular topic. That's because I use LibraryThing collections not as a way to classify my books in topics (I use tags for that purpose), but as a way to find books in my library. So, for example, a supposed book which was about Philosophy but also about Drugs, would be tagged as Philosophy and as Drugs, but could be outside my LibraryThing collection of Philosophy if I considered it a member of my collection of books on Drugs and I kept it in my library beside the rest of my books on that topic.
