Om mitt bibliotek: I've kept all my childhood favourites – a lot of fantasy, particularly Emily Rodda, Garth Nix and Darren Shan – and I do still enjoy good Y/A fiction, like Patrick Ness and (some) Robert Muchamore. But my reading material of choice nowadays is mainly contemporary literary fiction – authors like Kazuo Ishiguro, Craig Silvey, David Malouf, Chris Cleave and Richard Flanagan. I'll read classics because I know it's good for me, but I tend to get impatient with anything pre-Hemingway because it's too long-winded. I like my writing to be short, sharp and shiny!
Om mig: I'm a second-year creative writing student and aspiring author who reads and reviews as many books as possible. I've been posting reviews since the age of 15, and all my old ones are still up here! I have been working at Mostly Books, my local independent bookstore, for nearly three years now.
