I like to read (& watch) *adult* speculative fiction with a lean toward the dark. I do like coming across stories that include the perspective of mothers. Message me if you have any suggestions that checks those boxes. Two short stories that do that well are CLOUDS GLEAM ACROSS HER EYES by Beth Cato and STRANGE WATERS by Samantha Mills.

I read a lot of short stories unless I am commuting. On long commutes, I can more easily fit in full novels. I love that there are so many podcasts for short stories available these days. Kate Baker is an awesome host and narrator. (Easily found narrating for Clarkesworld Magazine)
