Taneeka Bourgeois-daSilva is an educator at heart and divides her time between many educational avenues and platforms of learning. She wrote the award-winning Broccoli Chronicles which won three literary awards and is available on BN.com. She is a big advocate for reading and therefore created Reading Builds Character, a nationwide reading initiative to encourage more kids to read. 💡About Me:

I am an award-winning author, educator, adjunct professor, blogger, and entrepreneur. I am the author of the Little Kids, Big Voices series. I am Founder and CEO of Building Voices and TCD Kids Foundation. In my spare time, I love reading and writing children’s books, primarily coloring books and chapter books. I also enjoy volunteering at my church and giving back to the community. My favorite vegetable is broccoli and my favorite beverages are blue cream soda and sweet tea.
