Om migI cannot get enough of books. Besides the fact that I love to read them, I also collect them and treasure them. I buy them faster than I can read them. I attend many authors book signings and readings. I received my BS in Business Marketing and I'm looking for a way to combine my love for books, research, reading and promoting into a career.

I just received the ARC of "Hurricane Summer" by Asha Bromfield. I'm so thrilled to read this novel with such a beautiful cover. I'm currently reading on my Kindle, "The Proposal" by Jasmine Guillory. On my TBR list is "A House Divided" and "The Other Sister" both from the Family Seceret Series by Donna Hill.

Om mitt bibliotekIn the 70's I read a lot of books that I checked out from the library down the street. I was a sponge for biographies and autobiographies, this explains my "Read but Unowned" list. If I wasn't reading a book, then I was reading an Archie Comic book or KREAM magazine (I was into Rock during this time in my life) or writing in my diary.

I'm an avid collector of Fiction, Biographies, Books on/about Detroit and Memoirs about and/or written by Minorities. I've included books by Detroiters or Native Detroiters, like Mitch Albom and Loren D. Estleman. I began collecting in 1996. I prefer hardbacks to paperbacks. Even though I collect, I'm more interested in the content and not its' value. I shop mainly at Used and Bargain Bookstores and frequent local book sales that I find via www.booksalefinder.com

In the year 2019 I discovered the artful covers of UK editions. I have a few books both, US and UK editions in my collection listed in my library as duplicates. .
