Om migA Jill of All Trades. Highway wanderer, a cog in the wheels of corporate America, college instructor, adventurer, devotee of Belgian ales, music lover, tech geek, Trekker, daydreamer, would-be Appalachian Trail thru-hiker - guess that's a start.

Like Socrates, I only know that I know nothing. I'm a full-time student, even when not taking (or teaching) a class. My interests are all over the map and would love learning anything that you might have to share.

You could say I've never been one to worry too much about social convention and just like being myself. Speaking of convention, I am a woman, perhaps not by traditional definition, but female nonetheless. The journey has been an interesting, but pleasant one. I don't see it as a transition, since it is who I have been all along. A "mind/body integration" might be a better description for my circumstance. If you have any questions, just ask! I'll take no offense.

I'm a very down to earth, trusting person who believes that the good one does is returned - whether you call that philosophy The Golden Rule, Reciprocity, The Rule Of Three, Pay It Forward or...whatever.
