Om migI live in the Arkansas Ozarks and am an Arkansas native. I've studied history, political science, and education at the post secondary level and currently work in the mental health profession. My interests include: --- politics (polemical and scholarly work) in such areas as political parties, political philosophy, electoral and ballot access, minor/third party history, philosophy, and strategy; ---history in such areas as Arkansas and other local history, Civil War, World War II, XIX & XX Century American history, Middle Ages, gender and environmental history; ---Libertarianism, Objectivism, and Austrian economics; ---Fiction (see favorite authors list)
My wife is a mental health professional; many of the psychology related materials are hers. My sons also have their books listed as well (hence all the children's books).
Om mitt bibliotekWhile I have read many of the books listed here, there are also many that I haven't read and will probably never read. Some of my happiest moments are spent in bookstores.
My most prized book is an edition of Scaramouche by Rafael Sabatini that I acquired when my high school library discarded numerous old volumes. This old book, though not worth much as an ex libris volume, introduced me to Sabatini and the incomperable Andre-Louis Moreau.
