I collect books and rock and fossils.

I have a wide range of books in my library and have listed just a few of my favorites here- including some of the books I used as research while I was writing my own books.

I have worked as a paleontologist, a teacher, and a writer.

I study mammoths, mastodons, and other extinct mammals. But I also love dinosaurs and I have taught classes about dinosaurs and other fossils.

I live in Issaquah, WA - which is a town about 20 minutes east of Seattle.
