It's mostly fiction; I've been trying to read a wide variety of authors, styles, time periods, et cetera... I don't feel that it's right to segregate myself into a "favourite" genre or author before being able to look at as much as possible. Should I decide to get my M.A./PhD. in English Literature instead of getting an M.D. degree, however, I'll have that much more trouble choosing a specialty... Almost all of these books have been bought since I started college (that is, two years ago -- Goodness, time goes quickly).

I'm a 20-year-old student at Columbia University, double-majoring in English Literature and Biology. I'm also pre-med. I love reading but rarely have the time for it due to the pressures of school; most of the books I get through are those which are required by a class (part of the reason for choosing to be an English major -- it makes me keep reading!). Breaks, of course, are a different story. :)
