I love dogs, nature, and Democrats. A true gypsy and free spirit. Current home in beautiful West Virginia; also lived abroad in several countries. Work focuses on Africa.

Favorite authors: Mark Twain (especially short stories and non-fiction) and Salman Rushdie. Current goal is to read all Booker Prize winners.
Favorite book of all time: Innocents Abroad, Mark Twain.
Favorite Rushdie book: Midnight's Children
Favorite dog book: Merle's Door, Ted Kerasote.
Favorite Africa book: ??? need to think about ???
