- My library is a result of books bought over the last 20 or 30 years that either interested me, was recommended to me, that I read a good review of, that was assigned to me in college, or that just caught my eye in the bookstore. In my job as a librarian, I read reviews regularly and am quite compulsive at times, so I have many, many more books than I have actually read. That is a great sorrow for me, but I am still working on it.

You would think working in a library would cure my compulsive book buying habit. But not so far. I am happiest when I am with my family when we aren't all mad at each other. But next to that, I am happiest when I am deeply engrossed in a book. - Vistelseort
