Om mitt bibliotek
I have created this library as a resource for teachers to refer to. When reading children's literature I first read to enjoy and appreciate the ideas. But I also read like a teacher of reading and writing. The tags I have indentified are ways I could extend the book to teaching both reading and writing. Comments include additional ideas for writing. I often use this database myself when planning lessons. What an amazing resource to click on a tag and have a list of titles available. Although you may not own most of my books you can take a list to the local library and they can get them for your classroom use.
Om mig
I am a professor of education at Southern Adventist University. In addition to teaching Survey of Children's Literature I also teach many literacy courses. I always use children's literature in my teaching--both at the college level and when doing demonstration teaching in classrooms with elementary children.
