My list here on LibraryThing is a record of books I have borrowed - mostly. I know which books I have on my shelf so I don't need to record those. I only put books I own into LibraryThing when I would like recommendations based on those favourites.

I really really like reading! My family think I am addicted but I'm sure I could give it up if there were no more books being written. But as there are still books to read, I still find myself reading.
In my youth (last century), I mostly read Science Fiction but more recently I have found that romances have improved a lot from the Barbara Cartland days, so I read a lot of romances.
My favourite author is Laura Kinsale. I have actually had to buy her books (usually I borrow from the library) because she is so good. "Flowers From The Storm" is my favourite of hers.
