I like reading mystery and suspense novels. I would have to choose my favorite authors as John Grisham and Karin Slaughter right now. They both write in the genre I like most and both write with re-occurring characters that develop over time either in a series or in stand alone novels.

I try to keep my mind open to new types of novels and undiscovered authors. I try to expand into things I might not normally read because you never know what you may find that is wonderful.

You will not find romance or science fiction on my book shelf. These types of books are just not appealing to me.

I live in Virginia with my husband and four cats. I love to garden and of course read books.
