I have a personal library of old books mainly of Essex,UK and I maintain a personal index of ancestors names ( due to UK data protection rules they relate to people known to have died or who lived at least 100 years ago) The index now contains about 24,000 names.

I live at Burnham on Crouch which is on the eastern side of Essex in the UK.
I am a part time adult education tutor in Local History and run several websites on local and family history of Eastern Essex.
I am happy to talk or share information about my books or other books on history/genealogy in Essex or even to give pointers to people who want to find out more about Essex but I do not wish to use the site for social networking.
