- Mostly science fiction and fantasy, with some funny stuff, some serious stuff, a lot of history and biography, especially history of science and technology, and also race issues and cognitive and social psychology.

- Anne Gray is a professional cognitive task analyst, meaning she knows how to observe and interview people and read documentation and extract knowledge about what decisions people need to make in order to do their jobs, and what information they need when in order to do that, how they use it, and how to make that easier, especially through interaction with computers and robots.
