As for my ratings, you will see a lot 4-5 star books. This is simply because I am happy to put down a book if I'm not enjoying it for whatever reason. Life is too short to read books that I think are terrible!

I am trying to live more simply and with less "stuff" in my home. I have recently donated a ton of books and am continuing to slowly go through what is left. My goal is to never have more than one small bookshelf of books! The books that I no longer have in my physical possession have been added to the Collection titled "donated."

I have fairly eclectic reading tastes. I really enjoy reading feminist fiction/nonfiction - most notably in my collection would be books by Margaret Atwood, Joanne Harris, Alice Hoffman and about Eleanor Roosevelt, although I'd love to read more female authors or about other successful women. I also have a soft spot for classic literature, although I don't/have not read as much as I would like.

I grew up in Texas but moved to New Hampshire in 2008. It was the best decision I've ever made! I love it here, even though the winters can be somewhat difficult.

I live in a small town in New Hampshire with my husband and two little boys (born in 2013 and 2015). I love to read, knit, sew, quilt, and journal. By day, I am a social worker. In the evenings, I recharge by trying to be as creative as possible! Come follow me on Instagram: katiegilleysews
