I have, in the past decade, become a diverse reader. I enjoy classics in addition to contemporary fiction and nonfiction. I also love biographies, horror, crime novels, psychological thrillers, and stories where the underdog rises from the ashes like a golden phoenix!

I have found solace in books almost my entire life. I learned to read at the tender age of 3. My love for reading only intensified as I joined summer reading contests and developed an appreciation for great authors such as Stephen King, John Saul, V.C. Andrews and numerous others. Now that I am older reading soothes the savage beast in me when it attempts to rear its ugly head. I have developed intense bonds with characters, derided ruthless antagonists, and felt indebted to particularly talented novelists who seemed to comprehend my deepest fears and desires; offering me hope.
