When I moved out, I only took about half of my library with me into the apartment I shared with a strange 50-year old gloomy german teacher; then I moved into my own tiny apartment and got myself a boyfriend who helped me build shelves (not in that order), so I brought all the books I considered vital and gave the rest away; recently I've moved in with said boyfriend and had to give a few more books away to make space - but I've also bought new ones, so the number is about the same, I guess.

I don't order books by language or country, only by category and alphabetically. I like a bit of chaos in my order.

German-spanish bilingual librarian, living in Madrid, Spain, yes that's in Europe, where health systems are socialized. English is my adopted language. Turned 35 this August, my, how time flies when you're looking elsewhere. Besides reading, I love tv-shows; I'm long-time trekkie, and I watch everything from Babylon5 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, to Sex and the City and The Wire. I have a LiveJournal and hang out frequently on Facebooks. I equally enjoy opera and cheesy pop hits. As for my personal life, I'm in a steady relationship with an engineer (help!), we recently moved into an incredibly chic apartment in the incredibly chic neighborhood of Tribunal.
