Om mig
Planning my next research project! Something around the development of time-travel in popular culture in C19, 20 and 21 ... or the notion of the multiverse ... while awaiting feedback on a Master's dissertation (submitted in June) comparing the treatment of the Black, colonised 'other' in French and British children's literature of the interwar (i.e., WW1-WW2) period. I grounded this in an analysis of imperial and colonial ideologies and the collective mentalities prevalent at the time. The title is 'Empire and colonies in French and British children's literature in the interwar period (1919-1938): Black people and the representation of the colonised "other". The research plan is at tinyurl.com/steveresearch
