Loretta Donovan enjoys being at the cutting edge of organizational development and corporate learning. Her involvement with building the capacity of people, groups and organizations has spanned the healthcare, IT software and professional services, human services, higher education and association markets. She has held the position of chief learning officer for Health Quest, St. Francis Hospital, Girl Scouts of the USA, ClientSoft, and the March of Dimes.

Loretta’s perspective and versatility come from a wealth of experience as an executive and consultant, including strategic leadership for large scale change, leadership development, performance assessment, employee engagement, and elearning. As an author, her work has been published in the International Journal of Coaching in Organizations, the Proceedings of the Academy of Management, the Academy of Human Resource Development Annual Proceedings, and contributed chapters to Social Knowledge: Using Social Media to Know What You Know, and the AMA Handbook of eLearning. She has presented at regional, international and national conferences on leadership, change management, and social media.

Loretta has been involved on the faculties and advisory boards for the graduate programs at Columbia University, Teachers College, Stanford University, and New York University. She serves on the Global Council of Appreciative Inquiry Consulting (AiC). She has completed her doctoral coursework at Columbia University, Teachers College in Organizational Learning and Leadership. Loretta holds an M.A. from Manhattanville College and a B.S. from the College of Mt. St. Vincent, and has certifications in Appreciative Inquiry from the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science and in Executive Leadership from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
