Just read Bay Psalm Book Murder. Had not heard of it, and not too many folks seem to have it on LT, but it does tout to be an Edgar winner- 1983, for first novel! It was well written, but not overly polished. Plot is good, characters decent and the biblioness of it was pretty high, focusing on -- you guessed it-- the Bay Psalm Book. You can find my review under the title easily enough. If you liked the John Dunning books, this one is a natural! The hero is even named Cliff. A pretty solid recommendation.
