L.A. Times Festival of Books 2011

What a joyful way to start a Friday morning! I just read that, this year, the Festival of Books is being held April 30-May 1 at the USC Campus near downtown L.A. Lots of authors have signed up already, including a trio of my favorite writers of mysteries set in L.A.: old stand-bys Robert Crais and Michael Connolly, and Walter Mosley's joining them this year! I'm actually not happy about the change in location, but am happy that I can attend both days this year. My uncle is even coming down from northern CA for it.

I was really excited about it's move to USC because I was living in downtown L.A. and can get their on public transpo in minutes. Then I moved...to Pasadena. Now it'll be a commute again. I just can't win. lol

I looks like Jane Smiley will not be there this year :(
