I know this probably isn't strictly appropriate for this forum, but since we are all great fans of Japanese mangas and anime that I think I should mention this here. Some people personalize the stories they read, and I am probably one of them. I've invited them into my life and home (metaphorically speaking), and in a sense they are some of my dear friends that I'll never meet in this life. That extends to the brilliant mangakas, writers, directors, voice actors, animators, and etc that make it all possible. Since everything is in such chaos right now in Japan, I doubt I'll be seeing any weeklies (anime or manga) that weren't finished already. And as a fan, that's quite fine with me. I hope they are all alright.

All my thoughts and prayers will be going to the people of Japan and all the wonderful people that make my enjoyment possible.

I agree, our thoughts are with Japan in this time of crisis.

It's so sad what happened.
My whole school is trying to donate as much as possible, and even though everything helps it feels like nothing is helping and we're not doing anything.

They're shaking down in Arkansas:

Very few folks realize that we have fault lines down the east coast here in the States and quite active . I know when they built Maine Yankee, it was an issue because it was built within a few lines of a line. I don;t recall much regulation on earthquakes in the building codes.

sorry guys, I didn't meant to scar everyone, but technically Japan was hit twice (different days).
