Greetings!

So I'm working on tracking down every Dostoevsky short story in English and haven't been able to find any publications with these:

Novel in Nine Letters
The Jealous Husband (also called Under the Bed and Another Man's Wife), and
Out of the Service

Does anyone know if these have even been translated into English and if they've been published? Thanks.

If you don't mind a Kindle version, Amazon lists Dostoevsky's Complete Works. It doesn't really seem "complete", and 'Out of the Service' is either not included, or is an alternate translation of another story, but your first two titles are there.

The compilation An honest thief, and other stories is your best bet:

An honest thief.--Uncle's dream.--A novel in nine letters.--An unpleasant predicament.--Another man's wife.--The heavenly Christmas tree.--The peasant Marey.--The crocodile.--Bobok.--The dream of a ridiculous man.

Not sure where "Out of the Service" is...

You will pay around $20 for a reprint of this book on either abe or amazon.

Here are links to 2 of those stories:

*If you have access to a university library you might be able to look through the indexes of Joseph Frank's multi-volume biography for any reference to that story. I don't see it anywhere, but there are references to it, especially if you include "1848" to the search.
