UK writer seeking local publisher

As you can see from my profile, I am new to this site. I have just finished writing a book about my journey through life since 2005. Much of this time was spent in Sri Lanka, a country I have grown very fond with. I have many stories to share regarding my travels around your country and times I have spent both as a volunteer and paid English teacher. I have approached the SL Book Publishers Association, but to date, have yet to receive a reply. Can anyone recommend a publisher that maybe interested in my writings?

You might try posting the question in the Hobnob with Authors group. They tend to be pretty helpful with this sort of thing.
