Absolutely. I'm able to buy it inexpensively by the ounce at a local health food/specialty grocery place. A definite pantry staple, especially when the weather gets cold and I need a serious morning jumpstart!

I used to drink PG until they stopped doing the collectible cards. (Boo!)
Now have switched to Yorkshire Tea, and that's great. :^)

Rozax, I see you are in the SF Bay Area; Raley's carries PG Tips, and if I remember correctly, Andronico's may carry it too - at least they used to.

A local lolly shop has a shelf of English products (I should mention this is in Australia). It sells PG tips and I love it. I've also tried a brand called Yorkshire Gold in place called Miss Marple's tea house. It's pretty much the best tea I've ever had.

Yorkshire Gold is lovely--a little difficult to find in the Midwest; I stumbled across at box at TJ Maxx of all places.

What's a lolly shop? In English slang this should be a bank! Is this lollies as in candy on a stick, shaped for licking? A whole shop full?

The only place I've found Yorkshire Gold here in the USA is at Marshalls which is affiliated with TJ Maxx.

In Aus a lolly is anything from hard boiled sweets to the softer type of thing like a jelly bean. Candy on a stick is a lolly pop. Or is that one word, lollypop. That looks better. I'm imagining a shop full of lollypops right now and it would look delightful.

I have not yet tried PG Tips, but I will have to try that. If you live in a state with a Publix grocery store (in southern US), they have an area of the store with goods from around the world & they sell PG Tips.

I have always disliked PG Tips: to me it has too strong and tannic a taste, as if it has been stewed as soon as the water hits it.

A friend with a connection in the U.K. sent me a couple of Marks and Spencer blends (Luxury Gold No. 2 and Breakfast Blend No. 3, if I haven't gotten the names garbled). Both are very PG-Tippy in character. I'm not sure what the numbers are for, because the No. 2 is oodles stronger than the No. 3.
