4> I couldn't tell what to make of this. After a quick search on the Internet I found nothing substantive. The Internet hummed because of Richard II, so it does look dubious that Attila's grave was found but there's so little hoopla.
I'd like it to be true but I'm convinced.

I told Matt today I thought it would turn out to be—based on nothing more than the initial story. I'm glad to be found out right. I remember the noise around the discover of the "tomb of Alexander" at Siwah. It made every news outlet on the planet, and everyone who knew anything about Alexander from a professional angle was profoundly skeptical, or even immediately dismissive.

Ack. Ah well...

I don't see the point.
After doing a little searching online about this and the adjoining stories on the winged serpent at Shanghai Zoo and the sphinx in the Bahamas, I decided the stories were, at the least, thoroughly unreliable and, I suspected, hoaxes - but what's the point? I don't get the joke.

Um ... I looked at the rest of the site. Oops! Mostly still don't get the point, though - they're not very good at what they do.
ETA - I've got a sense of humour - honest! I just don't get that site.

>11 alaudacorax: - I appreciated learning that Global Warming causes ED. I knew that all that advice about exercising, changing diet and losing weight was just hokum.
Agreed though, The Onion is much better.

According to the Kinsey report
Every average man you know
Much prefers his lovey dovey to court
When the temperature is low
But when the thermometer goes way up
And the weather is sizzling hot
Mr Pants, for romance, is not.
