mhgatti's review of The Plot Against America by Philip Roth.

It seems to me that it must have been flagged by mistake.

The only other reason I could imagine is that the review is also cross-posted to that user's blog. I suppose someone might not have realized it's the same person and he's not ripping himself off. But it seems like a bit of a stretch.

Also a bit of a stretch to truly flag by mistake though. It's not a one-click operation after all.

Nothing there to suggest that it's on any blog, and certainly no violation of the TOS that I can see.

I should clarify. I googled part of the review to see it (despite appearances) it was lifted from anywhere, and I got a hit. After a little extra research I figured out that the blog the review appears on belongs to the LT user. What I was getting at was that there could be the incredibly tiny chance that someone read the blog, recognized the review, and yet didn't realize they were the same person. As I said, it's a stretch, and I wasn't implying that there was any TOS violation at all.

I just thought it was also a stretch to flag a review completely by accident when it has a confirmation page.

Oh, I agree! I do hope nobody has so much time on their hands that they're googling all the reviews. Maybe they should read a book instead . . .
