So... if we aren't a "respected writer", does that mean you aren't talking to us?
Or do we automatically get respected if we call ourselves writers?
...And I'm pretty dubious about everyone who is a member of this group being a "wonderful writer". (Although I am a wonderful writer, of course, and since I'm the only one who has responded, I guess we're good.) ;)
This group is not busy, but it's usually a little more populated than the reaction to your introduction suggests. ::puzzled::
Hi, I'm a Canadian living in the US, and the mother of six kids ages 24-14. My pen name is L. Shelby, because my real name is one of those deceptively simple frequently misspelled thingummies. The L doesn't really stand for anything. I write stories of adventure or mystery/intrigue (usually with strong romantic elements), that are set in imaginary places. I read widely -- I'll try pretty much anything with a plot that is not overly erotic, depressing, grim or supposed to be scary, but I won't finish it if I'm not enjoying it. I also read a lot of non-fiction.
