I love this time of year - all of the Best of book lists - that always bring conversation and additions to the wish list.

So I'll start off this thread and hope that many in this group will add to it!

My books are listed in the order I read them.

Fiction
All My Puny Sorrows
Our Souls at Night
The Red Notebook
Everything I Never Told You
Fates and Furies

Nonfiction
Between the World and Me
Evicted (to be published in March '16)

Honorable Mentions
Honeydew
Our Only World
Station Eleven
H is for Hawk

I've got a few faves this year - here they are by star count:

5 Stars
Dr Mutter's Marvels: A True Tale of Intrigue and Innovation at the Dawn of Modern Medicine (Really good narrative nonfiction about a really interesting person)
Gideon Smith and the Mechanical Girl (reveling in the old-style British boy's adventure story/steampunk groove)
Lord Kelvin's Machine (steampunk classic, this time)
The Innovators (fascinating story of the development of our current computer culture and the people who led it)

Highlights of the 4.5 Stars
Ancillary Justice
Dead Wake
The Daedalus Incident
The Language Instinct
Our Man in Charleston

Ah, I got ahead of myself! I didn't realize that Colleen had volunteered to post the official "Best of" threads for this group. So I assume that will still be forthcoming and we can all add our lists there.

OK - Colleen gave this thread the go ahead as the official Best of 2015, so let's get sharing!

This thread may be difficult for some to find since it's in the 2014 challenge group and not the current year's.....?

Yikes! This was all supposed to be on another thread. That is what I get when getting excited for books on LT makes me a little late for work. I don't pay close enough attention.
