I've been seeing multiple member/authors whose LT Author link on their member profile go to the disambiguation page rather than to their specific author page.
I'm posting them here in case anyone else wants to take up the issue.

Here's another one. New member http://www.librarything.com/profile/RichardFreed claimed the author page before it was split.
Is there a second step that could be added to that process asking whether the member is the author of all the books on the page???
Anyway, after asking him, I split the author and he is now Richard Freed (2) http://www.librarything.com/author/freedrichard-2

A.W.Black's user page LTAuthor link connects to a disambiguation page, http://www.librarything.com/author/blackaw
BUT if you go to the correct author page, http://www.librarything.com/work/16068905
You get the same author badge box, with an "author page" link back to the disambiguation page.
That can't right, can it?

Author badges are too easily passed out, I think. As far as I can tell, no one asks the author if everything on the page belongs to them before the link is established.
I've been trying to clear up obvious page issues before encouraging new author members to click on "Is this you?"

I've caught up with everything up to (but not including) >7 LShelby:. Not sure what's going on with that one, and am working on finishing up some Early Reviewers stuff just now. All the others should be squared away, though.
>8 2wonderY: A lot of the time, the split doesn't exist when the author page is claimed, and we have no easy way of knowing whether they're claiming all works for the name, or just a few, unless they leave us a note when requesting author status. (There's a "message" box that appears after you've clicked the "Is this you?" link, where they can send us a note along with their request). In the cases where they mention that not all works belong to them, I approve author status, split the author, and then adjust the author code on our end. But, again, this relies on authors telling us that not all books on the author page were written by them.

I flagged a book cover on this member/author's page
https://www.librarything.com/profile/DavidHulettWilson
and I've heard from the author a couple of times. Copying out the correspondence here for amusement purposes.
From you to DavidHulettWilson: Not an image of the author.
From DavidHulettWilson to you: I had one picture which was of me and I wanted to add a copy of the cover of my book, which Library Thing then decided was the PRIMARY image and refused to accept any modification, including deleting the unwanted image. And that is why the picture is "not an image of the author". Do you know how to overcome this?
From DavidHulettWilson to you: Now got the picture sorted (added a third picture - the correct one - which then took over as PRIMARY picture. Other issues with Library thing having decided that despite the graphic sex scenes the book is YOUNG adult. I've suggested that young adults should overcome this problem by lying to their parents.
From you to DavidHulettWilson: LibraryThing doesn't decide categories of books. One of the members who have catalogued your book has added that 'young adult' tag. It looks like author photo has been sorted, but it would be better to have a truer image, rather than the mask photo, don't you think?
Your LT author badge has been routed incorrectly to the David Wilson disambiguation page. I'll ask staff to make the correction.
Oh, and welcome to LT.
From DavidHulettWilson to you: 2wonderY. I presume you represent Library Thing in an official capacity.
Regarding the picture, I have my reasons for withholding a true copy of my face. If you're interested I'll explain.
Regarding the categorisation of books, can I just say that if Library Thing accepts the category "Young Adult" for a book from someone other than the author, could I as the author be to blame if a parent objected to their child reading the book on the basis of the categorisation? Can you advise exactly WHO would be to blame.
I dislike the categorization "fantasy" because the book is most certainly not fantasy and this will put off potential readers.
And lastly, should I be involving my lawyer?
Answer required, please.
PS. When I tried to send this yesterday what appears to have happened is that I sent the message from me to myself. Is it me that's daft or the system operated by Library Thing?
From me: Somebody else is welcome to take over this correspondence.

I don't think there's any hope. Mr. Wilson is clearly one of those authors who believes that having written a book gives him the right to control everything that everyone says about it everywhere. Let's just hope he doesn't start harassing reviewers.
It's unclear to me what he's even talking about, though. Nobody else has entered his book, and the other book where he has the ranty paranoid tag isn't his.

Author George Wythe has been separated, with (1) being the correct legacy library owner. The Legacy Library box shows up on the disambiguation page and on the works pages of all of these authors, but not on the correct author page.
I wonder if this is a similar coding correction to the LT Author linking.
