I'd go ahead and put Aberdeen in the name of the group. It's less elegant, but it'll help people find it easier.
Have you done a location search (here). I find 13 members who say they're from Aberdeen. Most people don't fill in that field, so the real number is probably much higher.

The Free Dictionary and The Urban Dictionary disagree slightly on that word. Cromulent either way.
