Homo Deus: Questions for the author

If you could ask Homo Deus's author, Yuval Noah Harari one question, what would it be?

You say that life is an algorithm. Would you be prepared to concede that this should be 'Life is LIKE and algorithm in some ways'?

Do you think you heavily-focused your statements and conclusions on WEIRD societies, or did you have a specific type of people/society in mind when writing this book?

Life is algorithm: are we, therefore, the component steps of solution existing within the algorithm and does the solution (be it 42 :-) or anything else imaginable) then rest on our unadulterated individuality?
I haven't finished the book yet, so sorry if this becomes apparent later!

I have two questions I'd like very much to ask him, in light of 21 LESSONS FOR THE 21ST CENTURY, and the two pieces of advice he has been giving on the talk circuit:

- "Know yourself": What kinds of things exactly can I learn about myself through meditation and reflection? You have given one big example - sexuality - of a "thing" someone could possibly not know about himself for years. OK, though; once I feel firm in my sexual orientation, could you give some other examples of things about myself that I might not know?

- "Join an organization": Can you give an example of what kind of organization you have in mind? Are we talking about the Sierra Club, the Nature Conservancy, or what? Organizations battling climate change, championing nuclear disarmament, that kind of thing? What about the threat of AI - I'm not aware of any organization undertaking the study of the hairy questions around biometric data ownership, etc.
