Apparently, after this image: http://www.librarything.com/pic/7064144 was flagged, the uploader (venue) decided no longer to accept comments.
As a result, I was unable to leave a comment noting that this image is apparently a logo for the venue, and therefore should not be flagged.

There is a vote ongoing for this author image which could use some "no" to prevent removal:
https://www.librarything.com/pic/144141
The author does have a work on LT, so I have split the name and assigned the photo to (2), however it is presently 7-1 so the image is liable to disappear.
If it does, the original info for recreation is:
Description: George Grantham Bain Collection (Library of Congress)
Copyright: No known restrictions on publication ~ https://loc.gov/pictures/resource/ggbain.37660/
Picture uploaded by leebot on May 12, 2007.

Now that the picture has been reassigned, I changed my vote to no

I flagged this image a few days ago as the author had uploaded 2x of the same photo:
https://www.librarything.com/pic/9224218
Unfortunately they seem to have deleted the other image, as well as the comment I wrote saying it was a duplicate. I've switched my vote to "no", but the poll could use some other "no" votes to ensure it doesn't get removed and leave the author photo-less. Thanks.

Here's another where I cannot leave a comment explaining my "no" vote: https://www.librarything.com/pic/7697926
There is no requirement that both (or all) members of a collective be in the same photo. The flagger could simply add an image of the other author.

>6 lilithcat: If this affects anything re. your thoughts - there was also some CK (now removed) on Pittacus Lore that referred to only a single person, eg. education, so to me it seemed that helpers were just under the assumption of it being a single person. Could also be down to a miscombination in the past? If the photo got added during a time when Jobie Hughes was combined into the pseudonym. He does only have one work at the moment under his own name so his URL would've likely been subsumed if a miscombination is to blame.
The lack of the uploader attaching other contributor images to the group pseudonym is suggestive too of it being a mixup rather than intentional.
I've done a bit of superficial digging and a wiki for the author's works' fandom gives a third name contributing to the pseudonym, and "possibly unknown ghostwriters who have had some level of input at various stages of the series" (I've added to the CK and disambig note). So it sounds like it's a little more bloated/complex than a straightforward partnership/duo pseudonym, if that's worthwhile to mention here. I don't have a particular interest in the author (and I think in general I'm not sold on having individuals represent a group name) so won't be attaching photos myself in this matter, but should other helpers go down that route I'll not flag, based on your advice there >6 lilithcat:, thank you.

This one that's up for a vote (I'm neither flagger nor uploader):
https://www.librarything.com/pic/9306250
The same image has previously been flagged and was removed, as https://www.librarything.com/pic/9253217
There were additional comments on the reupload image (up to yesterday?) but now deleted, I presume because the uploader didn't want them to affect the outcome as there were some fairly antagonistic views expressed.
However all that aside, if the poll isn't going the way it should per the guidelines, it might be worth some older/wiser heads chipping in.

This image looks to be a generic symbol. I think it's not what Author Images is intended for, but as it is the author themselves uploaded and an image that they might be using to represent their identity, I'm wary of flagging process potentially sounding like petty rules enforcing without a well-worded comment attached to ameliorate it. Does anyone have the time to write something appropriate and place a flag, (and possibly field replies if the author uploader wants clarification/etc.)

I flagged it. The uploader says it is "Romany flag symbol".
