What are your April goals? Are you getting more reading done in this time of social distancing? Tell us about your plans and how you're doing!

I'm on a book-buying ban since January and I'd like to continue with it in April. I did buy a magazine last month, I think I will restrict by ban to books only

I would also like to finish 3 books, hopefully getting closer to my reduce audible TBR and SIY#52 goals

I have 3 library books in my possession and since the library isn't open I haven't been in any hurry to read them but I am going to try to read one for April (and another for May and another for June providing the closure lasts that long). I am also aiming to read another 5 books from the TBR piles in April concentrating on Canadian books acquired before December 31 2019.

Finished 2 books - not bad. Book-buying ban is also progressing fine

I've read 4 books from Mt. TBR and I'm close to finishing one of the library books. However I only read one Canadian book so far. Must make sure to pick something Canadian to finish out April.

Finished 4 books, that's nice. Participating in Dewey's helped

Out of 7 books read so far in April, 3 were from the TBR shelves and 4 were ebooks downloaded from the library.

Just started another TBR - We are legion (we are Bob), a humorous sci fi title from Dennis Taylor.

Sorry I've been away from this group for the past few weeks! I thought I'd have more time for myself, working from home, but it hasn't quite worked out that way. I'm very happy to have my daughters back home but that does mean less time on my own. :)

>5 gypsysmom: I've started reading from this year's Ontario Library Association Evergreen Nominees and getting my Canadian content this way. I especially liked Watermark by Christy Ann Conlin.

>6 Amaryllys: Congrats! I'm sorry I missed Dewey's last weekend. I wanted to join but too much going on around the house to concentrate on reading.

>7 nrmay: That really is a great title! I'll have to look up Dennis Taylor.

As for myself, I finished one of my BookCrossing roundabout books, Bear Town by Fredrik Backman, and another from my shelves, The Listening Eye by Patricia Wentworth, that I will register. The others I'd read this month were all digital library books.
