Please help me find the name of this book

So I would of read it 12 years ago or there abouts and I’m going to describe it the best I can but I’m thinking I may be fusing two books together so please please help me if you can.
So what I can remember is that the main character is a girl and she is an orphan but ends up getting kicked out and moving in with her boyfriend she is overweight at the start but loses weight without knowing her co-worker/friend tells her. She loses her virginity to her boyfriend but he was dodgy and gets arrested or runs from the cops for selling drugs I think. She moves in with her friend/co-worker and they live together for x amount of time until the friend/co-worker dies but before the friend dies the main characters new “boyfriend” for his birthday asks for a threesome I can’t remember what they did for work when they were living together but at the start they worked in retail
That’s all I can remember it’s not a lot to go in but it’s now 11:40pm and I can’t sleep thinking about it. Hopefully someone somewhere is able to help me thank you in advance to anyone willing to help me
