This book is actually the worst book I've ever read. Simply put, it is a white supremacy manifesto. The author believes that people of color are evil and Asian people are clones. What really got me though is that she believes that every single person who has died is gay. It was being gay that killed them. She uses the f-slur about 200 times throughout this book. Like I said, worst book I've ever read. I believe that the author needs serious clinical help.

>1 pieceofcake: I see that Eleanor Stewart's book had one previous rating before yours by an "Eleanor" who only has that book in her library, and the rating is 5*.

A quick search online using other databases with more information indicates that there are two self-publishing authors named Eleanor Stewart so I'm going to split them for now.

>4 spiralsheep:
You just assigned all the works to Eleanor Stewart (1). You need to assign the other books to the appropriate author.
>3 spiralsheep:
There is nothing wrong with an author joining LT and cataloguing her book. If she had created multiple accounts, that would have been a problem. But she didn't.

This is odd - the book in question has disappeared from the Eleanor Stewart author page. How to Live Forever

There also seem to be two works

But I can't get them to combine.

>5 lilithcat: I think an author pre-emptively rating their own book 5* is questionable behaviour, although I'd also guess it's not uncommon. I didn't say it was against LT's rules as I neither know nor care what authors are permitted to do here. :-)
But clearly the author sincerely believes her book is worthy of a self-rating of 5*: "THE BEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN! IT'S very unapologetic - but it has to be, it's telling you to stop doing the evil you're doing that wrinkles and rots you! Of course it's mean! It shines a Light on ALL the SINS OF HUMANITY! LIKE ALL! It's SOOOOO GOOD! And contains secret knowledge of the Gods! Oh my gosh, if only they'd taught me THIS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL, or ANY SCHOOL, for that matter. Like it's about the complete disavowment of feminine intuition - knowledge of good and evil - Eve and Adam and Lilith --- whose super cool. by the say and well, I won't spoil it, but it's so good, A MUST READ, IF YOU WANT TO LIVE! SERIOUSLY!"
>5 lilithcat: >6 lilithcat: Yeah, a quick look indicates I messed up the split. The original Eleanor Stewart's books are all correctly assigned to Eleanor Stewart 1, but the two works pages for How to Live Forever seem to be free-floating and need to be assigned to Eleanor Stewart 2.

>8 spiralsheep: It's not against the rules, just very tacky. It does not give people a positive view of the author. And when the author doesn't rate or even enter other books, you get the feeling that the author doesn't read.

Actually, there are two different Eleanor Stewarts listed under (1). The first two books are by an ex-nun who trained as a midwife (see Amazon bio under the books' listings), and the third book is by an actress: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleanor_Stewart
I'll do a further split.

I'm glad you have time to do a full interrogation.
