Here's what I'd like to know...
I join a group, a very active group, and I want to start from where I am and not read the thousands of posts that are already there. Is there a way to mark all topics as read?
Thanks

Not that I know. It was requested as a feature. But once you start reading, the topics themselves become easy to handle, the unread ones will soon be on the next page in a very active group. However, when there's a new post in one of the unread topics opening will take you to the beginning of that thread, not the last post

Opening the topic then assumes you’ve read the whole thing, unless you mark it unread at any point. Doesn’t mean you have actually read it all.
But why be bothered by the bolded threads? It’s just riches to mine later if you care to.

I remember it being overwhelming. In the beginning I only watched a few groups, but sometimes opened All Topics when I was feeling brave. In the meantime I have ignored so many groups that All Topics is generally useful to me
