Professor John Vincent, historian died March 9th 2021 after a fall. He was 83. According to the Times obituary he was an early victim of what we now call 'cancel culture' after lectures at Bristol University in 1986 aroused the ire of radical student snowflakes although it seems this may have been a result of his work as a columnist for 2 newspapers.
